Cairn is made by Ship Hangar Inc. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Cairn app. It is short because there is very little to say.
Cairn does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud.
Everything you do in Cairn, the traits you choose, the quests you complete, the moments you log, and the letters you write, is stored only on your own device. It never leaves your phone. We cannot see it, access it, or recover it.
The Cairn app contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking technologies, and no third-party software development kits. The app does not connect to the internet to send or receive your information.
Because your information lives only on your device, you are in full control of it at all times. If you delete the app, all of your Cairn data is permanently deleted with it. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, because we never had it.
Cairn is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If you purchased Cairn, that transaction was handled entirely by Google or Apple through their app stores. Ship Hangar Inc. never receives your payment details. Please see Google's or Apple's privacy policies for how they handle purchases.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since Cairn collects nothing, we do not expect meaningful changes.
